Justice G Rohini Commission

The Commission to Examine Sub-categorisation of Other Backward Classes or the Rohini Commission is a commission headed by former Chief Justice of Delhi High Court, Justice G Rohini. It was constituted in 2017 to examine the creation of sub-categories within OBC category for the purpose of reservations. The sub-categorisation is being looked at for ensuring equitable distribution of representation among the OBC communities. The commission’s tenure has been extended till July 31st. This is the 10th such extension of tenure.
