Jharkhand’s Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana – Recent Updates
To promote the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana, four awareness chariots have been launched by Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar and District Magistrate Ananya Mittal. These chariots will travel across Panchayats and Municipal bodies from August 3 to August 10, 2023.
Scheme Overview
The Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana provides financial support to women aged 21 to 50 who are not eligible for existing pension programs. The initiative offers a monthly grant of Rs 1000 to help with health, hygiene, and nutrition.
Eligibility Criteria & Application Process
- Age: Women aged 21 to 50.
- Residency: Must be residents of Jharkhand.
- Bank Requirement: Applicants must have a bank account linked to their Aadhaar number.
- Exclusions: Government employees, EPF holders, and income tax filers are not eligible.
- Application Sites: Applications can be submitted at designated sites within urban areas and Panchayat buildings.
- Pragya Kendras: These centers will continue to process applications after the initial camps.
- Necessary Documents: Applicants need a voter ID, an Aadhaar card, and a state ration card.
- Application Forms: These will be distributed for free by Anganwadi workers.
- Aadhaar and Photo Verification: All applicants must attend special camps for verification.
- Oversight: Block Development Officers and Zonal Officers will supervise the scheme’s implementation.
