ITBP’s Therapy dogs

ITBP’s therapy dogs are retired combat canines used to help personnel who are undergoing medical treatments to recuperate faster. They will also be used for helping specially-abled children. As per the current practices, retired canines from CAPFs are handed over to NGOs or taken care of at retirement homes within the organisation. Recently, the first batch of therapy dogs was inducted into their new roles.
