ISRO to launch Israeli student-made satellite- Duchifat 3

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch the third in the series of Israeli student-made satellites named Duchifat 3 with the 50th mission of  PSLV on Wednesday, 11th December 2019. PSLV-C48 which will mark the 50th mission of PSLV will launch RIBSAT-2BR1 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
PSLV will also carry 9 customer satellites under the commercial agreement with New Space India Limited (NSIL). Among 9 satellites, 1 each from Israel, Italy and Japan and 6 from the United States of America.
From Israel, Duchifat 3, is a photo remote sensing satellite, weighs 2.3kg is developed by Herzliya Science centre and Sha’ar HaNegev High School students, it is designed to help school students to observe our planet earth.
