Ireland honors Malala with Peace Prize
Social activist Malala Yousafzai from Pakistan who was shot at by a Taliban gunman in 2012, will be awarded with Ireland’s esteemedTipperary International Peace Prize for 2012 in recognition to her courage and determination to speak out in support of equal access to education for every child.
Malala is the second Pakistani to get the award. In 2007, it was given to Benazir Bhutto.
