International Pulsar Timing Array
International Pulsar Timing Array or IPTA is a multi-institutional collaboration that is tracking very low-frequency gravitational waves such as those emanating from very large supermassive blackholes using radio telescopes. It involves European Pulsar Timing Array (EPTA), North American Nanohertz Observatory for Gravitational Waves (NANOGrav) and Australia’s Parkes Pulsar Timing Array (PPTA). India recently became the 1st Asian country to join IPTA as Indian Pulsar Timing Array (InPTA).
