Integrated Command and Control Centre inaugurated in Haryana 

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated the ambitious Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) in Gurgaon, Millennium City of the country. The ICCC has been developed as nerve centre to provide multifaceted online smart services to people.

About Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC)

It has been designed to serve as nodal point for all online data related to Smart City applications, including CCTV-based public safety and adaptive traffic management system, pollution monitoring, smart parking system, water supply management system, asset management system and property tax management system. ICCC was built at cost of Rs38 crore.

Mobile App: A mobile app has also been developed for ICCC by bringing entire citizen services on one platform so that the public can access these easily and to increase the reach of this ICCC, plans have been made to cover 358 traffic intersections with installation of 1,200 CCTV cameras. Currently 250 CCTV cameras have already been installed and made operational, covering 50 intersections at present and 1,200 CCTV cameras will be operational on 222 crossings by March-2020. With installation of cameras, the vehicles’ speed, (their) registration number plate, colour besides the 2-wheeler drivers without helmet can be identified at ICCC itself.

Smart Street Light: The city’s smart street light facility too can be controlled from this centre. Moreover, the monitoring of vehicles engaged in solid waste management too will be done from this centre and adding drinking water supply meters too have been integrated with it.

All government buildings and police stations of Gurgaon city will soon be connected with optical fiber network. At present 160 government buildings and police stations of city have been connected with this network and within the next six to nine months all the government buildings in Gurgaon city will be equipped with public Wi-Fi system.
