INSV Tarini Completes Historic Voyage to Australia

Arrival in Fremantle

INSV Tarini arrived in Fremantle, Australia, on November 9, 2024. The arrival time was approximately 14:30 IST, or 17:00 local time. Indian and Australian dignitaries welcomed the crew warmly. Notable attendees included the Consul General of India in Perth and the Defence Advisor from Canberra.

The reception included a cultural performance by the Tamil Association of Western Australia. This added a unique touch to the welcoming ceremony. It brought into light the cultural ties between India and Australia.
