Indo-French Year of Environment

During her five-day visit to India, Minister of Ecological Transition of France, Barbara Pompili, jointly launched the Indo-French Year of the Environment along with Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar. It is based on five main themes – environmental protection, climate change, biodiversity conservation, sustainable urban development and the development of renewable energies and energy efficiency. This visit also includes negotiations on renewable energy promotion and strengthening and universalization of ISA.
