India’s trade deficit surges to $20 billion

India’s trade deficit surged to a three-month high of $20 billion despite some stingy improvement by 0.82% growth at $25.58 billion in January. The growth, however, does not seem to provide much help in attaining the $350 billion export target for 2012-13.
