India’s Mars mission gets cabinet approval
The Union Cabinet approved the proposal of Department of Space to launch a satellite to Mars in 2013.
What will be the mission?
The satellite will investigate Mars atmosphere. It will study climate, geology, origin, evolution and sustainability of life on the planet.
It will be launched by Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV).
