Indian Institute of Technology Bombay

IIT Bombay was founded in 1958 with financial assistance and technical support from UNESCO and the former Soviet Union. The institute began its academic journey with 100 students enrolled in three undergraduate programs: Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Over the years, IIT Bombay has expanded its academic offerings and research facilities to become one of the leading technical institutions in India.
