India, USA agree to cooperate on future missions to the Moon and Mars

Subsequent to successful collaboration in Chandrayaan-1 lunar mission, India and the US have agreed to cooperate on future missions to the Moon and Mars.
NASA and ISRO collaborated successfully for the Chandrayaan-1 lunar mission in 2008. Thus, building upon the partnership further, both NASA and ISRO have agreed to explore further cooperative space exploration work, including future missions to the Moon and Mars. They mutually agreed to continue discussions in planetary science and Heliophysics to identify areas of potential cooperation.
