India, Tajikistan ink pacts to enhance strategic partnership

India signed 6 agreements with Tajikistan on sports, health, culture, education, labor, textiles and energy.
Both nations agreed to enhance bilateral ties to a strategic partnership in the direction of strengthening the relationship through all-round co-operation and engagement.
Both countries recognized information technology, bio-technology, mining, tourism, pharmaceuticals among other sectors as high potential fields.
India also decided to raise training slots for Tajikistan from 100 to 150 under India Technology and Eco Training Programme.
