India suggest to avoid any action against Syria without UN report
India is not in support of any action against Syria without a report of the UN Inspectors on the alleged use of chemical weapons and it asserted that no action should be taken without UN authorization.
Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh clarified India’s stance in the recently concluded G-20 Summit in St. Petersburg condemning the alleged use of chemical weapons in Syria and anywhere else in the world. India’s view is that what happened in Syria should be ascertained before taking any action.
India’s view were also supported by United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki moon as he noted that the ongoing conflict in Syria must be resolved diplomatically and arms must not be supplied to any conflicting side.
