India Launches Operation Ajay

Amid a full-blown war with the Hamas group in Gaza, India has launched “Operation Ajay” to facilitate the return of its citizens from Israel, where approximately 18,000 Indians reside. The initiative aims to ensure the safety and well-being of Indian nationals abroad as the conflict escalates.

First Special Flight for Registered Citizens

The Indian Embassy in Israel has already taken action by notifying the first group of Indian citizens who had registered to return home.
These citizens will be placed on the first special flight scheduled for departure the following day.
Subsequent flights will be organized to accommodate other registered individuals.

The Conflict in Israel

Israel has established an emergency government to manage the ongoing war with the Hamas group.
The conflict intensified when Hamas fighters carried out an unprecedented assault on Israeli soil, resulting in civilian casualties.
Thousands of lives have been lost in the last five days, with Israel responding by launching a massive bombardment of the Gaza Strip, which is controlled by Hamas.
Israel has amassed its military forces around the Gaza Strip, possibly indicating preparation for a ground invasion.
Additionally, Hamas has taken around 150 hostages, including citizens from various countries, such as Thailand, Mexico, the United States, and Germany.

Multi-Front Threat for Israel

Israel faced the threat of a multi-front war as it engaged in a series of clashes with the Iran-backed Shiite militant group Hezbollah on its northern border with Lebanon.
Hezbollah confirmed firing missiles at Israel, prompting an Israeli military response targeting one of the group’s military observation posts in southern Lebanon.
Israel also exchanged fire with militants in Syria following reports of munitions being fired toward the Golan Heights.
