India has recently launched “Transnational Skill Standards”, which is benchmarked to which country?

The Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Rajeev Pratap Rudy has recently launched “Transnational Skill Standards” in India to support international mobility of Indian workforce and also prepare them to work in international companies having their operations in India. These standards in skill development are benchmarked to the skill standards in United Kingdom across 82 identified job roles. It will highlight the gaps in Indian Standards against the UK standards and to cover the gaps, those intending to migrate, will undergo ‘bridge training’.
