India gets Olympic berth in swimming

FINA, the world swimming body has granted India an Olympic berth in swimming. FINA awarded the berth to Karnataka swimmer Gagan AP Ulalmath in the men’s 1,500 metres freestyle event of the London Olympics under the ‘Universality’ quota.
