India and Pakistan army hold flag meeting on LoC in Poonch
The commanders of the armies of Indian and Pakistan held a flag meeting at Chakan da Bagh in Poonch district along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir. The meet was held in the backdrop of ongoing tension b/w the armies of both sides. The tension had escalated after Pakistani soldiers brutally killed two Indian soldiers. Both sides accused other of violating the ceasefire. The Indian Army voiced concern at the violation of the ceasefire by Pakistani troops and the mutilation of the bodies of two soldiers killed in Pakistani firing and one of the bodies was beheaded. The Indian Army also asked for the severed head to be returned.
