Inauguration and Purpose
Shri Banwarilal Purohit inaugurated SAMRIDHI, a Deeptech Startup Accelerator Program, dedicated to catalyzing innovation in agriculture and water technology. Hosted by iHub AwaDH, a Technology and Innovation Hub under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS), SAMRIDHI aims to accelerate market research, innovation, and development for ICPS startups.
Collaborations and Innovations
The SAMRIDHI Conclave witnessed the formalization of five strategic collaborations and featured five deep-tech innovations. Thirteen startups, shortlisted through rigorous evaluation, presented their ideas, while 25 startups showcased their solutions at the exhibition.
DST’s Role and Achievements
The event underscored the pivotal role of the Department of Science & Technology (DST) in shaping the region’s technological future through NMICPS. The Mission has resulted in the generation of 311 technologies, 549 technology products, and the creation of 1613 CPS research bases. It has also contributed significantly to over 60,000 CPS skilling initiatives.
Support and Collaboration
IIT Ropar’s Technology and Innovation Hub AwaDH organized the conclave with support from 46 investment partners. Over 50 jury members actively evaluated and mentored the startups, while more than 110 partners nationwide played a crucial role in driving innovation and fostering technological self-reliance.

The SAMRIDHI program is executed in collaboration with the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM – ICPS), reaffirming DST’s commitment to advancing technology and innovation.
