In Which year first World cup was held in cricket?

The first ever world cup in Cricket was organised in the year 1975. It was organised by International Cricket Conference (ICC) in England. Total Eight teams participated in it: India, England, Australia, West Indies, Newzland, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and East Africa. By defeating Australia in final match West Indies became winner of first World cup. Next World Cup (12th) will be held in the year 2019 in England and Wales.
