IICA and SCPwD Collaborate on ‘Job Coach for Inclusivity Programmes’
The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) and the Skill Council for Persons with Disability (SCPwD) have joined forces to enhance corporate knowledge and skills in building and managing a diverse workforce.
MoU for Inclusivity Programmes
- IICA and SCPwD signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the ‘Job Coach for Inclusivity (JCI)’ programmes.
- The primary goal is to equip corporates with knowledge and competencies to foster diversity and inclusion within their workforce.
Promoting Inclusion in Corporates
- The collaboration aims to build the capacity of corporate representatives and other stakeholders interested in diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- The initiative is timely, considering the need to strengthen diversity and inclusion efforts in India.

- SCPwD is a not-for-profit organization established in October 2015 to fulfill the mission of mainstreaming ‘Persons with Disability’ (PwD) in India’s skill development and entrepreneurship landscape.

- IICA, established by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, serves as a think-tank and Centre of Excellence supporting the growth of the corporate sector.
- The School of Business Environment at IICA focuses on areas such as Environmental-Social Governance (ESG), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and Business & Human Rights (BHR). It promotes inclusive growth in the country.
