IFFI 2019 to begin in Goa

IFFI 2019  will begin from 20 November in Goa. The festival will showcase the best films, filmmakers and honour legends like Amitabh Bachhan, Rajinikanth and others. French actor Isabelle Huppert will be conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Born in 1952 in Paris, Isabelle Huppert has starred in more than a hundred films since her debut in 1971. She won the César Award for Best Actress twice and has been nominated for it a whopping 16 times.

Her latest movie, Frankie is a tale of a beloved French actress, diagnosed with cancer who takes her family to Portugal to bid her farewell.  IFFI confers its highest honour to the best performers –The Lifetime Achievement Award. This is the most prestigious award of the festival. Huppert will also take a Master Class under The Actors Connect Project in Goa.
