IBPS →CWE (PO/ Management Trainees-II) Recruitment 2012 Guide

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is going to conduct the 2nd Common Written Examination (CWE- PO/ MT- II) for recruitment of Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees post in 19 public sector banks of India. The tentative date of examination is 17 June 2012. This article gives the candidates, a preliminary information about the examination and selection procedure.

Important Dates:

  1. Online Registration → March 9, 2012 to March 30, 2012
  2. Dates of making offline payment towards application fees→12 March 2012 to 7 April 2012.
  3. Download of the call letters → 4 June 2012 onwards
  4. Tentative Date of Examination →17 June 2012

 

Candidates successful in written test can use their score card to apply in all or any of the 19 Public Sector Banks on the basis of eligibility/ qualifying criteria etc as stipulated by the participating banks. The 19 public banks participating in IBPS PO recruitment 2012 are →Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dena bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Syndicate Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of India, UCO Bank, & Vijaya Bank.

What are the subjects that will be expected in examination?

There are 5 major sections in the IBPS CSW Examination viz. Quantitative aptitude (Maths), Reasoning, English, General Knowledge with special reference to Banking Industry and Computer Awareness. Each section would have 50 questions.

Negative Marking:

There will be negative marking. So candidates are suggested to select answers carefully.
