HRD Minister inaugurates the Third Chapter of ‘Manthan- Impeccable Academia’

The Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ inaugurated the Third Chapter of ‘Manthan- Impeccable Academia’ on Wednesday 18th December 2019 at the Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra in New Delhi. The event was organized by the Media and Entertainment Skills Council (MESC) in partnership with the Ministry of Human Resources and Development (MHRD).
The Manthan is focused on a plethora of opportunities that are available under the Media and Entertainment Industry. The Ministry of Human Resource Development in cooperation with the MESC has developed specialized job oriented under graduation courses such as B.Sc Film Making, B.Sc. Animation and VFX, and B.Sc Performing Arts.
To date, More than 50 Colleges and Universities have signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) with the MESC for making the specialized courses available for the students.
The Minister during the inauguration said that Skill Education forms the Backbone of Development of any country in the World. India has a young population that dominates 54% of the countries total population. Earlier this year, the first two chapters of Manthan were organized in Hyderabad and Mumbai respectively.
