How White Blood Cells And Lymphocytes Fight With Pathogens?
Pathogens contain certain chemicals called antigens. When a pathogen enters the human body, the antigens stimulate the lymphocytes to produce antibodies. Anti-toxins are produced to neutralize toxins produced by the bacteria. White blood cells or leucocytes are capable of amoeboid movement. They are able to leave blood capillaries to fight against infections in the body. Lymphocytes secrete Globulins which are known as antibodies. These antibodies help to fight specific pathogens that attack the body.
