How many Fundamental Rights have been guaranteed by the Indian Constitution to its citizens?

The Indian Constitution guarantees six fundamental freedoms to the citizens of India. These freedoms include:-

    • freedom of speech and expression;
    • freedom of assembly ;
    • freedom to form associations ;
    • freedom of movements ;
    • freedom to reside and to settle ; and
    • freedom of profession, occupation, trade or business.
