High-Level Indian Army delegation visits China
Led by Commander of Northern Command of the India Army, Lt. General Ranbir Singh, a high-level military delegation from India is on a four-day visit to China as a part of the agreed Defence engagements agreed during the Annual Defence dialogues between the two sides, the visit began on Tuesday, 7th January 2020 in Beijing where Lt. General Ranbir Singh exchanged views with the Chief of People’s Liberation Army of China, General Han Weiguo followed by which the delegation met General Zhao Zongqi (Commander of Western Theatre Command) on Wednesday for discussing issues related to peace at borders between the two countries and on joint training exercises. The delegation had meetings based on mutual interest on Thursday at the capital city of China’s Autonomous Region Xinjiang Uygur, Urumqi with senior Chinese Military personnel regarding the important region of the north-west province of China’s border with Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
Today, a regiment of the Xinjiang Military Command will be visited by the Indian delegation followed by which the visit will be concluded at Shanghai.
