Government to digitize cable TV network in 38 more cities
Phase-2 of the campaign to digitize the cable TV network in India has been started by The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. In the phase0-2, 38 cities in 15 states will be covered by March 31, 2013.
Earlier, the digitization was completed in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata on October 31, 2012, while in Chennai the deadline has been extended till November 9, 2012 by the Madras High Court.
