Google invites Narendra Modi to address Big Tent Activate Summit

Narendra Modi is the first CM from India who has been invited to address the Google Big Tent Activate Summit 2013 on March 21 through Google+ hangout on the theme ‘Technology in Politics’.

Other elites like Eric Schmidt, Chairman of Google Inc, Alan Rusbridger, the Editor-in-Chief of British newspaper The Guardian and Stephanie Cutter, who served as the Deputy Director in US President Barack Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaigns, will also be seen participating in the summit.

Modi will address the summit which will be centered on the influence of web in shaping India’s future, in areas of business and economics, politics and governance, culture and media, and education.

  • Big Tent summits are meets organized by Google providing a platform to bring together experts from various fields, political leaders, thinkers to discuss on a variety of issues.
