GOMX-4

GOMX-4 is GomSpace’s (Demark-based nanosatellite manufacturer) research and development mission. It includes two satellites – GOMX-4A and GOMX-4B. These satellites were launched in 2018 at the low Earth orbit. Recently, JP Morgan had successfully tested a blockchain transaction in space using these satellites. The aim is to demonstrate the decentralised transactions without the need to communicate with the Earth. This is the world’s first bank-led tokenised value transfer in space.
