Gold for Manu Bhaker with world record a score of 244.7
India’s 17-year-old Shooter Manu Bhaker won the gold medal to claim the top prize in the prestigious women’s 10m air pistol event of the World Cup Finals of International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) held in Putian, China on 21st November 2019.
She also claimed the junior world record score in the women’s 10m air pistol event of the World Cup Finals with a score of 244.7.
Accomplishments of Manu Bhaker
She is the youngest India to win a Gold medal at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) world cup. Gold in 10m air pistol at:
- ISSF World Cup 2018
- Asian Shooting Championships 2019, Doha.
- Commonwealth Games 2018
- Youth Olympic Games 2018 in Buenos Aires.
In May 2019, she qualified for Tokyo Olympics 2020 in the 10m air pistol event.
