'God of Cricket' Tendulkar retires from IPL
Sachin Tendulkar announced his retirement from the Indian Premier League soon after Mumbai Indians won their maiden title. He won’t be playing in IPL next season. This is the second format from which Tendulkar has announced his retirement after having called quits from the ODIs in December 2012. In 78 IPL matches, Tendulkar scored 2334 runs at an average of 34.83 and a strike rate of 119.81. He scored one century and 13 half-centuries.
