    I’m sorry but the answer and options to Q. No. 9 are wrong. The legislative council of a state is not permanent and can be abolished if the Vidhan Sabha (lower house) passes a resolution to this effect and the same is passed by the parliament as well. This has been seen in the past in the case of either Andhra Pradesh or Tamil Nadu (one of the above)

    @SAT, the answer is 7.5 months, as per article 123.

    The ordinance expires within 6 months+6 weeks( if parliament doesn’t convene during that period)
