G.K.Pillai appointed Tata International chairman

Former Home Secretary G.K.Pillai has been named the Chairman of Tata International Ltd., which is the global trading and distribution arm of the Tata group of enterprises. Mr.Pillai is set to replace B.Muthuraman as Chairman from September 26.
Tata International has a presence in over 40 countries across the globe. It has a turnover upwards of $1.5 bn and employs 10,000 people.
