Fuel Conservation Campaign ‘Saksham’ to be launched on 16th January

A mega people-centric fuel conservation campaign of the Petroleum Conservation Research Association(PCRA)named ‘Saksham’ will be launched at New Delhi on Thursday, 16th January 2020 by the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan. PCRA is an organization established in 1978 under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas by the Government of India for promoting energy efficiency across sectors in the country and for creating awareness for fuel conservation amongst the citizens for which the under the campaign ‘Saksham’, PCRA has prepared a comic book with NCERT for the younger generation which is available in E-Pathsahala section on the web portal of NCERT with the theme ‘Fuel Conservation’.

‘Saksham’ is an annual campaign of PCRA which has developed as a flagship fuel conservation mega campaign program of India over the years, this year as well during the month-long campaign various interactive programs and workshops will be conducted for which PCRA also plans to make use of social media by running customized campaigns on MyGov portal and through Facebook and Twitter.
