Freedom in the World report

Freedom in the World report is an annual report from Freedom House that evaluates the conditions of political and civil liberties of countries. It is being published since 1973. According to the latest report, more countries are experiencing deterioration than improvement by the largest margin since the trend started in 2006. India has been labelled as a ‘partly free’ country (earlier labelled ‘free’). It highlighted the sustained deterioration of civil liberties in the country.
