Formation and Promotion of 10,000 FPOs

‘Formation and Promotion of 10,000 Farmer Produce Organisation (FPOs)’ is a new central sector scheme launched by the Union Agriculture Ministry. With an outlay of Rs.6,865 crore, it seeks to provide financial assistance for a period of 3 years to FPOs. Equity grant of up to Rs.2,000 will also be provided to each farmer member of FPO with a limit of Rs.15 lakh per FPO.
