First North East Food Innovation Exhibition

The Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad K Sangma inaugurated the first edition of the North East Food Exhibition in Shillong on Wednesday, 4th December 2019. The food exhibition is been organized at the Polo ground of Shillong, aiming to make it the biggest food festival in the South East Asian region.

The exhibition will focus on creating a global platform for food businesses in the northeastern part of the country.

The exhibition is being organized by the Paris based SIAL group and the state government of Meghalaya.

The three-day event will go until 6th December. Exhibitors from Costa Rica, Mexico, Georgia, Chile, Bangladesh, Japan, Argentina, and the United Kingdom are participating in the event.
