The World Cities Summit was recently postponed due to the threat of Corona Virus. The summit that is to be held in Singapore has been postponed to June 20, 2021. The Summit is an international conference that brings together policy makers to identify innovative solutions to cities that are facing challenges.

About World Cities Summit
The World Cities Summit is biennial. It acts as a common platform for industry experts and government leaders to address sustainable city challenges.
Every year, the summit is held along with Clean Enviro Summit and International Water Week.
Singapore
The first summit was held in 2008. The city is just 721.5 square kilo metre in area. However, the Gross National Income of the city is e 53,530 USD. The city has grown rapidly since its independence. The summit helps other cities to learn live examples from Singapore.
The summit is organized by Singapore’s Centre for Liveable Cities and Urban Redevelopment Authority.
