F-9 park

Fatima Jinnah Park or F-9 park is Islamabad’s biggest public recreational park. It spans across 759 acre of land. It is among the largest covered green areas in Pakistan. In the midst of fund crunches, Pakistan Prime Minister is mulling mortgaging this park to receive credit worth Rs.500 billion. The Capital Development Authority has already provided a no-objection certificate in this regard. Previously, various infrastructures were mortgaged by the government to source loans.
