Exercise ‘Mitra Shakti-VI to be commenced in Sri Lanka

Exercise ‘Mitra Shakti-VI’ will be conducted as part of military diplomacy and interaction between armies of India and Sri Lanka will be from March 26 to April 8 for the year 2018-19, in Sri Lanka. 1st Battalion troops of Bihar Regiment of the Indian Army and Gemunu Watch Battalion of Sri Lankan Army will jointly undertake the exercise. The motive of the exercise is to establish close relations between armies of both the countries and to enhance the ability of joint exercise commander to take military contingents of both nations under command.
