Enhancing Connectivity and Sustainability in Bihar Roads Project

The Total Loan Amount

The Bihar Roads Project is a substantial initiative, and the financial commitment is equally noteworthy. The Indian government and the ADB have signed an agreement for a whopping $295 million loan to fund this infrastructure transformation. Upgrading State Highways

With the $295 million loan, the project aims to upgrade approximately 265 km of state highways. These loans have funded the upgradation of about 1,696 km of state highways and the construction of a new bridge over the Ganga.
