Eminent jurist Tehmtan R Andhyarujina passes away

Senior Advocate and eminent jurist Tehmtan R. Andhyarujina (84) passed away. He had served as Solicitor General of India from 1996 to 1998. He practiced law for six decades and was widely regarded for his expertise in a branch of constitutional law relating to parliamentary privileges. He authored “The Kesavananda Bharati Case: The untold story of struggle for supremacy by Supreme Court and Parliament “about the landmark Judgment in Kesavananda Bharati Case (1973) in which he also had appeared.
