El Argar

El Argar culture was an early Bronze Age culture in the Iberian Peninsula of Europe that existed between 2200 B.C. and 1500 B.C. Some of the characteristics of the Argarics include state society, ruling bureaucracy, complex settlement systems, geopolitical boundaries, urban centres, labor and class divide, etc. The recent discovery of silver grave goods, including a diadem, on a female remain in La Almoloya has led archaeologists to consider if Argaric women held political powers.
