Essential Qualification
Professor
A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university
An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and having published work of high quality, being actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research publications
A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as an Assistant Professor/an Associate Professor/a Professor, and/or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates
OR
An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institution(s)
Associate Professor
A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university
A good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines
A minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a University,
Assistant Professor
A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university
Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates for all the posts would be made on the basis of the performance of the eligible candidates in the following:
The National Eligibility Test (NET) or an accredited test (State Level Eligibility Test SLET/SET)
Fee
General/OBC/EWS candidates: Rs 1000
SC/ST/PwD candidates: Nil
The fee has to be paid through demand draft in favour of The Registrar, The English and Foreign Languages University, payable at Hyderabad.

Professor: Level – 14 (Pay Band – Rs. 1, 44, 200 – Rs. 2,18, 200)
Associate Professor: Level – 13(A) (Pay Band – Rs. 1, 31, 400 – Rs. 2,17,100)
Assistant Professor: Level -10 (Pay Band – Rs. 57,700 – Rs. 1, 82, 400)
