Dual circulation economy

Dual circulation economy is a Chinese strategy to reduce its dependence on foreign markets and technology in the long term. This idea was introduced by the Chinese President Xi in May, 2020 and is composed of an ‘internal circulation’ that is supported by an ‘external circulation’. The internal circulation refers to the production, distribution and consumption within China. The upcoming Two Sessions is expected to unveil reforms in line with this strategy.
