DRDO: Technology Transfer Agreements signed
The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) signed 30 licensing agreement for ToT-Transfer of Technology with 16 Indian companies. The list of companies includes start-ups as well. The main purpose of the agreement is to fulfill the requirements of the armed forces.
Earlier, the Indian Armed Forces have procured ready-to-eat meals from companies that acquired ToT from DRDO. They have high nutritional value and shelf life.
About the Agreement
The products according to the agreement are to cater the requirements of the forces deployed in inhospitable terrain and hostile weather conditions. The agreements were signed at the Vibrant Goa Expo and Summit 2019.
The key focus of the Summit is inclusive development in areas such as technology, youth, innovation, sustainability, innovation, industries, skill development, networking and knowledge sharing. The summit also acts as a platform for opportunities of investment, joint ventures, technology transfer and Business to Business and Business to Government meetings. There are video conferencing and multi-sectoral exhibition being organized in the meeting as well.
