Dr. Janumaddi Hanumath Shastry: Veteran Telugu litterateur passed away

Screenshot_9The well-known Telugu litterateur, Dr. Janumaddi Hanumath Sastry (90) passed away in Kapada town of Andhra Pradesh due to old age-related illness.
About Dr. Janumaddi Hanumath Sastry
Born: Rayadurg in Anantapur district on September 5, 1926.
Awards: Kavitraya Jayanthi Puraskaram, the Gadicherla award, Sarvadhari Ugadi Puraskaram, etc.
Authored books: Maa Seema Kavulu, Mana Devathalu, Rasavadghattalu, Bellary Raghava, Mokshagundam Visweswarayya, C.P. Brown Charitra, Dr. Ambedkar, Ganapati, etc.
For his contribution to Telugu literature, he was conferred with a doctorate by Telugu University Hyderabad.
Delivered over 150 talks on AIR and wrote over 2,000 articles for various magazines.
Organized C.P. Brown bicentennial celebrations in November 1998.
