Dharma Guardian 2023 Exercise
India and Japan recently conducted the Dharma Guardian Exercise. The exercise was held at Camp Imazu of Shiga province in Japan. Middle Army’s Infantry Regiment and the Garhwal Rifle regiment of the Indian Army participated in the exercise. The armies shared tactics and their best practices with each other. The exercise will boost the friendship between the armies.
About Dharma Guardian Exercise
Indian Army and Japanese Army participated in the exercise. It was held in the Shiga province of Japan. The exercise held in 2023 was the fourth edition.
During the exercise, the armies conducted joint tactical drills, employed aerial assets and surveillance grids

GARHWAL Rifle Regiment
It was created in 1887. During British rule, it was called the Royal Garhwal Rifle regiment. There are more than 25,000 soldiers in the regiment.
